June 2006, at the Science School,

The crowd gathers to hear the philosopher...

who is already amongst them.

He started sidewalk astronomy in San Francisco.

Lived a monk-like existence for many years.

Is quite a teacher in his own right.

And taught us a good bit while he was here.

And invented the Dobsonian telescope, for which we are ever thankful.
